Harcombe walk

Twenty Bassets met up at the start, sixteen completed the five or so miles walk led by Gay and Mary. It was perishing cold to start but after lunch the sun came out and a brief shower arrived to refresh us. Gay's Harry was attacked by a foreign terrier, drew blood, pierced his poor ear, the owners disappeared rapidly - not without Gay's remonstrations I hope - but out of range of the camera mic sadly. Fortunately Nurse Phil was on hand to administer and to round off a jolly good walk, Mary's little Will lived up to his reputation and started another chase.

Brackenacres

As it happens, four Brackenacres here: my Matilda and Miss Moppet, and John's Bessie and Fred.

Sun

And the sun came out.

Gay & Mary

Leaders Gay & Mary. Gay has Basil on the lead - a 10 times rehomed
hound. Can't say she hasn't got pluck.

Cameraman

"Who Dares Wins" on the right; your cameraman on left: what a team.
